New Land Assets acquired the property in 2002 in a joint venture with Land Team from Canon Manufacturing UK Ltd, with vacant possession. The property comprises a 43 acre site including a purpose built manufacturing facility totalling 180,000 sq ft which was fully let to Regenersis (CTDI). The manufacturing facility was sold with the benefit of the CTDI lease in August 2018, leaving the company holding the remaining undeveloped land.
The balance of the site is approximately 29 acres (11.6 hectares). A master plan for Westwood Park has been developed in conjunction with Fife Council for the development area which extends to some 70 acres and the uses will include residential and commercial development.
